Two ways to show work to people outside your agency. Pick one on purpose.
Client portal
Use when the client should come back often: project overview, review, media, optional finance or talent tabs, one login.
Invite from the company Portal access flow. Guide: Client portal.
Share links
Use for a one-off guest link (optional password, limited life). Create under Media → Share links, or from the media you want to share. Guests open /share/.... With several assets they see a library grid first, then open one into review (same idea as the portal). They are not a full portal account, even if they can leave feedback on some links.
Talent shares use a separate /share/talent/... path when you share casting that way.
Quick pick
| Need | Use |
|---|---|
| Ongoing client login and project tabs | Portal |
| Single cut or folder, temporary link | Share link |
| Client says the portal is empty | Fix portal / review visibility, not only a share link. See Client says they see nothing |
Things that trip people up
- Mixing both without telling the client which URL to use.
- Expecting a share link to show the same tabs as the portal.
- Agency Preview portal vs what the guest or client actually gets.
