Link your Google account so meetings show on Resourcing, and confirmed Clippter shoot and edit planning can sync onto a Google calendar (both on by default; you can turn either off).

Where
Settings → Google Calendar (/settings/google-calendar).
Connecting is per person (your Google account), not a company-wide switch. This is separate from signing in to Clippter with Google. Platform OAuth is configured by Clippter; agencies do not set client IDs in settings.
If you see that Google Calendar is not available on this environment yet, Connect is hidden until Clippter enables it for that deploy.
Connect
- Open Settings → Google Calendar.
- Choose Connect Google Calendar.
- Sign in with Google and allow calendar access.
- You return to Settings with Connected (and usually your Google email shown).
Status Connected means the link is live. Needs reconnect means click Reconnect and allow access again (you do not have to Disconnect first).
After you connect
Both options below are on by default. Turn either off in Settings if you do not want it.
Show meetings on Resourcing
Show my Google events on Resourcing (default on).
Grey or colored busy blocks appear on Resourcing (Calendar / Projects) for capacity. On Projects you can filter which people’s Google events appear via the Google dropdown. Meeting hours count toward remaining capacity. Google-native events stay in Google — Clippter does not create or edit those meetings.

Push Clippter planning to Google
Push confirmed shoots & edit planning to Google Calendar (default on).
- If Clippter asks for write access, use Reconnect Google Calendar to allow Clippter to create shoot events.
- Pick Calendar for Clippter planning (Primary by default, or another calendar from your list).
Confirmed shoot and task (edit) bookings then appear on that calendar. Timed when clock times are set on the booking; otherwise all-day. Clippter stays the source of truth for those pushed events.
On Projects, optional shoot start/end times and Location go to Google when push is on. Also book travel creates outbound and return travel bookings so heen en terug show on the phone calendar. Optional Shoot start on crew call times is written into the Google event description (e.g. Start shoot: 11:30).
Turning push on does not re-push older bookings by itself — edit or re-save a booking after push is on if something is missing.
Disconnect
Disconnect removes the Google link for your user. Overlay and push stop until you connect again.
Things that trip people up
- Expecting a workspace admin to “turn Google on for everyone” — each person connects their own account.
- Overlay or push turned off in Settings while wondering why meetings or shoots are missing.
- Push on without write reconnect — events will not create until you Reconnect.
- Enabling push after you already scheduled — older bookings are not backfilled; re-save or edit the booking.
- Confusing this with Sign in with Google for login.
- Editing a Google-native meeting inside Clippter — that is not supported; change it in Google.
