Enable Clippter Basic vs Custom presentation on quotes. Custom applies your brand colours, richer Project Summary, section intros, and an optional pitch video on the client quote.
Where
Settings → CRM & sales → Custom quotes (/settings/company/custom-quotes).
Enable
- Turn on Enable Custom quotes.
- Choose Default for new quotes: Clippter Basic or Custom.
- Save.
- Open a quote editor — open ⋮ (more options) and choose Clippter Basic or Custom.
Off by default. Existing quotes stay Basic until you switch them. New quotes use the workspace default when Custom quotes is on.
Brand colours
Custom uses colours from Company Branding (and trading-name colours when a label is selected).
Also set under Branding when you want them on Custom quotes:
- Document logo (wide wordmark)
- Heading / body fonts
Project Summary
On a Custom quote, Project Summary is a rich text editor (headings, bold, lists, links). The client quote and PDF show that formatted text. On Clippter Basic, Project Summary stays a plain text field.
Section intro
On Custom quotes, each section can have a rich Section intro above its line items. Use it for approach, deliverables context, or other pitch copy. Basic quotes hide this field.
Pitch video
On Custom quotes, add a Pitch video URL (Loom, YouTube, Vimeo, and similar). It embeds on the client quote view; the PDF also includes the link.
Templates
Save as Template from a quote stores Basic/Custom, Project Summary, Pitch video, and Section intros with the line items. New quotes from that template (or Replace content → From template) reuse that pitch so you are not starting from a blank Custom quote.
