When clients can download finals depends on company defaults, and sometimes a project override.
Workspace default
Settings → Company Workflow → When content becomes downloadable. Typical options:
- Always available
- After first payment is received
- After final payment is received
Payment timing on quotes also follows Settings → Company Finance → Payment Structure (for example 100% on acceptance, 50/50, monthly). Structure copy often ties delivery / finals to those tranches.
Per project
On the project, Allow downloads before payment can override the workspace rule when you need an exception. When that override is off, clients follow the payment rule.
Review vs download
A client can see review feedback after Send to client even when downloads are still locked. Empty review is a different problem: Client says they see nothing.
