Track time

My Time

Log your hours against projects and see what your contract week still expects.

Where

Time → My Time (/time/my-time). The main Time entry in the nav also lands here.

Views

Switch between Day (default), Timesheet, and Calendar. Local settings can include Hide weekends, Round numbers, Show 24h (calendar), and Stop timer when no activity for (with a max of 24 hours on a running timer).

Timer

You can Start timer on a project selection, then Pause, Resume, or Stop & Save from the chrome when a timer is running. Only one timer at a time. A Work note is required before save / stop. Stopping saves the entry into My Time.

Log time

  1. Open My Time.
  2. Pick Project & service (and the day / cell), or use Scheduled in the left sidebar when something is already planned for you.
  3. Enter hours or use the timer. Add a Work note when asked (line 1 service/task, line 2 note, follow the on-screen format).
  4. Save (Add time).

Scheduled lists open work that is already planned for you: Resource planner tasks with a date, plus Crew & Services / Resourcing bookings (shoots, travel, edit blocks). Use + or the timer to jump to that day and project line. Closed / Done crew lines and completed tasks drop off.

Billable is automatic: client-linked projects are always billable; internal projects are never billable. The Billable checkbox is disabled, you do not pick it per entry. That feeds utilization and Billable target %. See How time works.

You need an active work contract with a usable cost rate. Without it, logging can be blocked. Dates can only go a limited way into the future (about 14 days).

Project hour budget caps (soft confirm or hard block) may warn or stop you when a project budget is full, Workspace time rules.

If workspace time rules lock you for open (unlogged) days, the lock message says which rule fired.

Project Time tab

On a project, the Time tab shows hours for that job. Use My Time for your personal week and targets.

Things that trip people up

  • No active contract / cost rate: ask a manager for Team → Contract.
  • Trying to toggle billable by hand, it follows client vs internal.
  • Ignoring holidays: not a normal missing-log day.
  • Fighting a lock without reading open-day count vs oldest open day.
  • Leaving the timer running without Stop & Save.
